Una pyme o autónomo no puede pedirla para sus propias instalaciones, pero sí beneficiarse de los servicios que estas infraestructuras ofrecen.
Limitations
- No es una ayuda general a pymes para sus instalaciones propias.
- Hay que solicitarla antes de comenzar el proyecto y acreditar inscripción en RECIDI.
- Exige acceso transparente y no discriminatorio a la infraestructura financiada.

Frente a Línea Directa de Expansión, con cobertura de hasta el 75 % pero para empresas con inversiones productivas, esta línea tiene un tope más alto, de 25 millones, y un tramo no reembolsable del 15 %, orientado a entidades de apoyo a la innovación.
